STUDENT ACTIVISM

One of the objectives of this exhibition is to bring younger people into contact with issues of war and peace and to encourage them to get involved.  One of our students, Phillip Roe, learned first-hand about the landmine problems in Bosnia.  During this summer, he organized his daycare to adopt the Jesuit Relief Services and raised $2,800 for them.  The day care staff and faculty along with the children and youth (ranging in age from 5 to 15) did all of the work.
